Property Assessments

A property assessment has been completed for each property. The property was analyzed by the consultant team of WGM Group, LPW Architecture, DCI Engineers, and ACE to better understand the potential and condition of the property. For some properties, SterlingCRE Advisors also provided a professional market value estimate.

Missoula County Public Schools

Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS) serves students in the Missoula and Seeley Lake, MT, communities. Its Core Purpose is to engage all students in a high-quality education that empowers, inspires, and prepares each student for their future.

MCPS Properties Plan

Missoula County Public Schools owns 14 properties that include several parcels of land and vacant or underused buildings that are currently rented to other organizations.

To determine how these 14 buildings and properties can best serve the District’s Core Purpose and meet its growing needs for the future, the MCPS Board of Trustees has voted to move forward on a plan to better understand these properties.

The planning process is led by WGM Group, Inc. (WGM) and a Planning Committee of Board Trustees, MCPS leaders, and community partners. The Planning Committee, supported by WGM’s consultant team, will provide recommendations to the Board of Trustees on the best possible use(s) for the 14 properties and buildings. The plan may determine that the best possible use is the current use.

The Board of Trustees’ goal is to ensure all properties are being used to further the Core Purpose of MCPS - to engage all students in a high-quality education that empowers, inspires and prepares each student for their future.
